We want to take a minute to introduce one of the guys who makes it all happen out in the field - Hunter Mattson. Hunter has been part of the A&E Outdoors crew for two years now, and he brings the kind of attitude you want on every job site. Positive, focused, and genuinely proud of the work.
Hunter serves as one of our Landscape Installers, which means he's hands-on from start to finish. Whether we're laying pavers, cutting stone to fit tight edges, or getting a base properly set before the first paver even goes down - Hunter is right there doing the work. That's exactly what good hardscaping takes. No shortcuts, just solid technique and attention to detail.
What we love about Hunter is that he cares about two things most: the people he works alongside, and the moment a homeowner sees their finished outdoor space for the first time. That combination - crew culture and customer satisfaction - is what drives the kind of quality we want to deliver on every single job.
Ask Hunter what his favorite piece of equipment is and he'll tell you the skid-steer without hesitation. His favorite season is fall, he's a BBQ ribs guy, and when he's not on the job you'll probably find him out driving and exploring. Basically the kind of guy you'd want grabbing lunch with after a long day of hardscape work.
We're proud to have Hunter on the team. If you've had A&E Outdoors out to your property recently, there's a good chance Hunter played a role in making it look the way it does. Give this post some love and help us show him some appreciation.
